As far as youtube, it was in 1080, I chopped it in windows movie maker and pressed the youtube upload button - what is the best way?

Firstly I record at 720p, 1080 is overkill. Then i chop and unload it raw currently. If you wanna know the apps im using let me know. The guy earlier made a valid point about movie maker.

Agree, though I find the wide field of view on 720 gets the side of my helmet in, whilst 1080 is narrower.
I'm downloading the demo of vegas, I just need to know the format to encode into for youtube.
When you say upload it raw, what do you mean? My clips are a gig or so, that would take forever to upload.
