Pity you never saw my post in one of the other threads...if you order from Hein Gericke.de you pay the same price, except in Euros, so it usually works out cheaper, even with DHL delivery (10 EUR). i.e. you could have had it delivered from them for £271 all in.
![]() I think it's the way forward tbh...try the gear on in your local shop, then buy off the German site. I know people will say that's not fair, you should support your local shop....well 2 responses to that, 1st - not my fault the Euro is cheaper, maybe the UK franchise should be given discount to be able to match the 'global' economy, secondly, I ordered some stuff through my local store last week, when I could have had it off the UK site...they ordered the kit from other stores and when I went to collect on Saturday, they'd ordered the wrong sizes and there were no more left in the country. They said they could source it from Germany, but I'd have to cover the £20 postage...funny that, considering I can buy it from the .de site and postage is 10 EUR! Anyway...hope you enjoy your leathers, I've got the PSXII 2-piece suit and it crashed well at Anglesey! |

Still a bargin!
Gerkie stuff is very well made, on par with Scott leathers IMO Both made in the same factory in China, and wouldn't surprised if its the same one FT use!

Having seen Italian leather suits fail laboratory abrasion tests that a pair of £8 Tesco Value jeans have passed, I know where I won't spend a penny of my hard earned. |
