Cheers for the help guys. I think I could do it myself but bibio is gonna make me a gucci little plug and play kit. I know I could do it but It will probably look like **** and be held together with a load of harry black, cable ties and string.

If your drive was pulsed Mag pickup then it should work..
Curvey mode that they did for the back spindle you can't do.I read on hear that the clocks big headache between curve and point was the Rev counter.sort of implies the speedo worked ?

Speedo is same between pointy and curvy with respect to sensor input, only difference is resolution in that K5 and later has 8 pulse per rev rather than 4 for earlier generations.

Same applies for most all bikes that have electronic speedo, just different number of pulses per distance.

That's good as you only need extra magnets then . So no excuse not to have it working now
