It was obvious though when i spoke the the insurance company the grl on the phone had no idea what I was talking about.....so maybe next time i play stupid and say that I want to fit them because they are shiny?

I declared all my mods last weekend to my (ex) insurance company who told me my suspension wouldn't affect my policy, but my exhaust may require the bike being dyno'd and that they would call me back on Monday........Express Insurance didn't call me back. I called them on Thursday only to be told that the insurance company, equity red star, cancelled my policy as it was "too modified"

They tried getting me to stay with them with my TS that was on the same policy, but I told them to get stuffed.

I am now insured with Carol Nash with both bikes, declaring all mods on the sv, fully comp, with breakdown cover etc etc for £270

They don't seem to mind modifications!

I do wonder when people say "they said it's fine"...
By 'they' ,do you mean the insurance company or the spotty call advisor who's leaving at the end of the month and wants the commission....

Either way I guess the company would be at fault, but could lead to complications

I will never use Express again. Totally rubbish service.
I'm with Carole Nash now.
