Not including the gold Yamaha FS1E (actually badged SS50) I had at 16, my first real bike was one of these bought new in April 1979.

Which was replaced 4 weeks later by one of these after I passed my bike test and got bored of the 250

I loved that bike so much I owned another 28 of them over the years and still have one today.

Yay, I had the same, but in blue.

Mine also lost the lower chain guard.

I'd had rides on Honda C90's and my Dads Honda CB450 black bomber

He's the one who got me interested in bikes, sadly he passed away on Saturday. He was still keen on any motorised transport, and he'd just been to the Brooklands Motor Museum a few weeks ago. RIP Dad
