A vm is not the solution for this particular user, sadly only a second system will do.

I have it working Win7 to Ubuntu 11.10, both laptops running both the laptop screen and an external monitor on each (4 screens) at work and WinXP to Win7 at home.

It glitches from time to time, but it DOES do cut-n-paste between machines.


Works on Linux, iOS and Linux in any combination (and any number of machines)
