Dimension that is different between pointy/curvy is way less that 38/41mm

If the pointy bike needs a smaller insert, I could machine the emulator to fit the smaller damper.

Pretty sure they're emulators, fegv-s3801's, if you were gonna rip off someone elses design you wouldn't copy it so it looks exactly the same!!
They will be fine in a carby

If these are debrix ones, how come the high price? They are only about £40 new?

Yc, what's yr preference for the pointy bushing, a 'top hat' design so there is a lip that sits on top of the damper rod, or a spacer pressed inside it? I've seen both made in different threads about the debrix emus

Makes no difference on the spacer design as long as its located in damper rod and seals against the top.
They may be £40 but what rate is the compression spring and what size is the low speed bleed, kinda vital in how it works, Harleys= heavy springs, thick oil (up to 50wt in some!!)

Doesn't matter, so long as it stays in there. If you have a lip on top remember it will make a small change to preload.
