Thanks guys. Its nice and friendly here.
I still need a few bits for it though to make it sweet. It has a full fairing but i took a bad picture because I got a spyball alarm on it and didnt have my keys on me so couldnt move it. Im on the lookout for a nice exhaust cos it is all standard on there. Might need some handlebar raisers for comfort too as most people seem to and im quite tall at 6ft2. There always seems to be alot of stuff on here from people breaking their bikes so ill keep my eye out. I need to start learning to fix it up myself too but im still young at 21 so plenty of time(hopefully).

Hi and welcome, before you change the handlebars do some research. It should be easier to relax your grip with longer arms as its easier to bend your elbow. I`m 6ft and find the stock bars on a 2001 curvy great. The trick is posture and get the weight off the arms and wrists. I fitted stompgrips and grip the tank and use the ball of your feet on the footrests. Ride the bike for awhile first before you decide any changes as your body needs to get fit. You may have a problem of upper legs feeling cramped on long rides in which case you can lower the pegs by changing them.
cheers,
chris

Hi again,
Thanks for the advice Chris and just thought would say i passed my mod one today so im well happy with myself . I got 1 minor and that was for going at 49km instead of 50 for the high speed manouvre but the test guy said after that it was because i let my hand of the throttle too soon and slowed down before the speed measuring device. Anyway a pass is a pass. Good times. Mod 2 on Dec 6
