Cheers YC...my thoughts exactly regarding the radial brakes, i would have them if money was no object but i'm sure the ones i can fit to these forks will be more than adequate. I have been looking for K1 yokes but none have turned up at the right price yet so will possibly look out for K1-3 1000 ones as i think they are more or less the same. Cheers.

I think i now know why these forks were cheap.....the seller described them as having a mudguard mount broke. They have turned up needing seals(not too bothered would have give them a refresh anyway) but my main concern is that none of the compression or rebound adjusters click when turned so i guess they are all knackered! I'm not impressed so will be sending the seller an email to ask why this was'nt stated in the description.

Nonclicky adjusters can still work too. Do they have a couple of turns of motion in between the needle seat and stop? Should be 2 or 3 turns.

Well thats what i was thinking Chris....they all turn freely enough about two or three turns like you say. Would it make a difference if they had no weight on them cos they aint in the bike yet.

They need needle tower there to push it to right place to make a click, IIRC they can unscrew from rod which interrupts click. But if you can feel needle bottom then there is no problem.
