Throttle adjustment is fine, around 2mm of free play.
However about an hour ago I adjusted the clutch bite point engine side as I felt it was to close to the bar (where it feels quite comfortable to me), now it's pretty much as the user manual suggests at around 15mm from fully released. It seems I am now able to much better control cruising speeds and also gear changing is smoother. I'm sure the clutch was very partially engaging before somehow even though it felt it was fully disengaged with the lever fully in. Anyway, thanks for the replies but it seems pretty much sorted now. Still sensitive (which I think is the nature of the beast) but smoother now. |

Try different gears. Sounds like (to me anyway) you're riding along at low speeds and high revs.
