Bum. Sounds like a waste of cash mate. I agree with the painting approach then, or get them on ebay separately and make your money back.

Im planning to spray a bit of fairing black, from the guides it dosent look too difficult as with black you cant really go wrong... You can use whatever i have left over paint-wise

Just remember to do more thin layers rather than one thick one.

I've sprayed a few things in my time and failed at all of them. Even the finishes that looked good were very weak when it came to resisting stone chips etc. My only recommendation would be DO NOT go in with the "it's easy attitude". Go in with the attitude to get the exact right stuff and expect to spend a lot of time and care. Otherwise I'm sure even if you're lucky enough to make it look good, it won't last.

Interesting thing is i went with a paintshop for that exact reason and they still ****ed it up, twice

Antons behind the gun shop opposite the petrol station you used to meet Tomor at before you got a sense of direction. Proper bodyshop. They have done a few little jobs for me in the past and I've always been very happy with them.

2nd that, they redid the side of my car when i scraped it on the wall outside my house. did a very neat job!
