potentially, the tips, colouration and gap was fine on the old ones. The inside may have gone though. Either way i'm a happy bunny now!

Yeah not too bad. Should last a bit longer (service interval is 20k i think) but i'm not too fussy.

I thought the SV was 6000 miles oil change, 12000 plug change. Not sure though. I used to change mine every other oil change, which was at very random intervals as I generally did it early for fun.

oil and filter is every 3.5k and plugs to be safe are every 3rd oil and filter change. iridium will go 20k easily unless the bike is in a bad state of tune then bike will eat plugs quicker regardless if iridium or copper.

if you do oil and filter changes every 6k then you need your head examined. you can however replace filter every other oil change but i wouldn't as its the filter that catches the nasty's.

Well I do need my head examined, but that's beside the point. My service interval has always been when I feel like it, which with a paranoid attitude and enjoyment of quality time caressing the bike, is normally every 3000 miles or so.
