How about this for a price.

I'm 20 years old on a gsxr 600k6 yes its a super sport but
I have 3 years no claims, no offences like speeding etc...
and the cheapest I can get is £750

Is turning 21 still good for insurance? As it would be nice if its drops next year.

No mine was £3-400 until this year now I'm 25. My car insurance plummeted well.

i am also now 24. I know insurance has gone up, but £500 for an sv650. Yes i did shop around and have been doing so since October.

i guesss this is probably the 1000000000th thread about insurance prices.

think it will be a while before i get my dream cbr1000rr fireblade
Try an IAM specialist, like IAM Surety, they only insure advanced riders, often at lower premiums, follow the link and take a punt:

Good luck

You can only use your NCD on one vehicle at a time.
There are multicar/bike policies, but AFAIK the limit is 4 vehicles and the price (in my case) came to more than insuring one car with the NCD and one with none.

its not too bad, When i had my sv650s, wimbledon area (nearish to New Malden) i paid £1200 FC, that was with 2 years NCB no accident and at the time no points. Now for a cbr600rr-9 its £1300 FC with 3 points and full exhaust system declared.

Renewal coming in May/June so not looking forward to it!
