Yeah, I'm sure. I thought of that and checked, it's definitely not on the bike.

I'd imagine if that happened I would see the "remains" of the GPS on the tarmac.

While it's a possibility, the vehicle would need to be the size of voltron to vaporise the GPS and not leave any plastic on the road.

I didn't think the TomTom Rider had as much features as the Zumo.......but that sound like a neat idea!

How are you :
a. mounting it?
b. keeping it waterproof?

Thinking of doing this.
Have a good gps on my phone which is OK for the car but can't see it in the sun.

I've a Navman s90i. In a waterproof case, bar mounted, been used for over 100k without a problem, beauty of it is only £50 if I need to replace it.

100K? Lol, well I guess if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I'll save up for another one I guess.
I've got plans to visit some places and I think having a good SatNav would aid me and make my journey less of a hassle.

I've got plans to ride in Eastern Europe, America, Russia, Africa.

I've got a mate riding from London to Lagos in West Africa with about 10 friends; they plan to sell their bikes there and fly back to the UK.......I would love to do something crazy like that not too long from now.
