I think it's going to be a case of try and see!

I will let you know the outcome!

Will it not have the same effect as the bandit? as it made the front drop in alot faster and didn't have any of the trade offs mentioned. This was done with a jack up kit and a 1200 rear shock.

Lew, you don't happen to have some more shots of your bike? That teaser picture looks nice!

Maybe cartridge forks handle it better... or tyre choice... anyway.

To digress, best thing with changing shock isn't the resulting rake, it's to get the rear end working right w.r.t the anti squat ratio. To get it to a nicely neutral feeling the curvy needs about +15mm and the pointy about +10mm at the shock.

You're right, it would give him part of the resulting feeling... but not the best/important part, if you know what I mean!
I didn't mention I had dropped the front 10mm with the stock shock, and didn't change it until after I rode it with the raised rear.
Maybe nervous is a better word.. but I didn't like it.
I do like the Penske rear, but don't think I have it balanced exactly right with the front, and it's the front I need to change. Maybe soften it up a bit. I'll have to try it.
