I've been thinking that for sometime, although I suspect it will only remain thoughts. Why didn't i, when I was 20, realise what I could have done with those 20 year olds bodies?

It's everyone and everywhere. Tonight, the kids wanted to watch Blandings. It came on and both were mooching on their tablets. neither even glanced up when I put something else on. Mrs. BP alternating between tablet and laptop (Sims v's schoolwork) and I have this HP Mini and an Ipad to hand.

I did try and recapture my youth on Friday night. Wigan beer festival followed by a club in town. Hangovers were never this bad were they?

Oh, and the irony is, we're all on the internet just to read this and comment...

I have to say I did indulge in some real print media this evening, National Geographic (from November I am so far behind on such things) followed by this month's Bike magazine, not as good as Ride IMHO. Note educational magazine from November, hobby magazine this month's issue.
Regarding this much knowledge in a 20 year old body, would that not just lead to even greater abuse of our bodies because we would know what we had to look forward to and therefore would we not abuse our bodies and recovery rates as much as possible whilst we could?

Saturday night we had the Soho Christmas party. 27 of us getting together for real conversation. Proper giggles no lol, actual hugs, and an evening that featured Raf in a mankini, Verna in a Santa onesie, me wearing Verna's bra and Jambo flashing his big ginger c0ck at women walking past. Photos will be posted soon but needless to say this beats a night at home with one's ipad!

When you get to the age you see your parents in a home or hospital it kicks home the reality that time is running out.
So don't waste it

100% agree

My wife has lost sight of this and time runs away quicker than you can say jack.

Before she knows it all her German relatives will have gone, and she'll regret it.

After last year, I know you never know when your number is up, so get out there and do the things you meant to do, before time runs out

Absolutely.

Both my parents were dead by the time i was 40, so it really hits home that life is only so long, and its not a dress rehearsal.

I've experienced some horrible things, and not allowed them to change me as a person, they just drive me to enjoy life to the full.

Fit into it everything you can. Let the people you care about know you care.

Hurt no one who does not try to hurt you first.

And if one day it's me in the nursing home, i want to be able to say to my friends/partner "remember when we went to....."

And enjoy it to the ful.
