Guilty as charged!

Plus a few riding around town showing it off, then to halfords on the way home to buy some more polish!!!

My bike is on 30780 done 8500 since i got it 2 years ago!
but it was to small for me to continue using on jaunts to see kitten 220 miles away!

so a car came along to! - i miss riding every day but with mum loosing her liscenece for medical reasos i am the only one in the house hold with a car liscence, and "can i have a lift " is much easier to deal with when you have a car!!

Mmm, I'd expect to pay more for that... I've seen bikes a similiar age with more miles in showrooms as high as £2700. Private sale'd be less, but that's not usually what they base these things on is it?

Assessor that came round actually advised me to value it at that same maximum amount, as they can only haggle downwards so you may as well start at the top.
Bizarrely they paid the full amount so I had a free car for 2 years.

However, guess you still need a valuation so if they do haggle you'll know how low your willing to go.

Best of luck.
When i got knocked off last November. I got:
  • A Fazer 1000 for 4 months
    Full value of motorcycle
More value of clothing (i fibbed a little)
£1000 for injuries (lil bruise on my hip and thumb!)

God bless no win/no fee! I only had TPFT so i wouldnt have got half as much.

I'll give you a quid for it, some of the fasteners are probably still ok...
