the picture from the web site for the sv650 to TL frame is mild steel by the looks of it and should be possible to construct.

However, if you're talking about welding onto the standard SV frame, be aware it's alloy and not solid, it's a very skillful job getting that right, not something I would try, I think the TL lump is also taller so you would either have to do something radical with the airbox or have the engine lower in the frame reducing group clearance, eitherway looks like a big job.

Good luck, let us know how you get on.

Cheers Mark.

Try asking on Motoforum.net. There was a guy who raced one in the Supertwins at Bemsee in 2003 I believe. Surname was Baxter - can't remember his first name.

Good luck - sounds like a laugh!

Mike Baxter. Don't have his number but a stack of his business cards are still on the counter at Maidstone Motoliners.

Alternatively you could just call James Holland (jhsracing.co.uk) as he helped with a lot of the buidl and set up work I believe.

this is the site that has those mount conversion...... i can anyhting i need mount this motor i have a welder and all that good stuff but one of my main conserns is if the motor will fit in the smaller frame without cutting on the frame
By the time that you have changed the forks, suspension and brakes to cope with the conversion, spend the money paying off what you owe and buy itching to gos TLS
