The "traditional british" staple diet is very poor compared to most of europe as far as freshness and vegatables go apparantly.
So lets give the schools a massive 37p to feed each kid with. And lets not insist that the suppliers have to provide stuff that is free from high salt, fat, sugar, mechaniclay removed lips n eyelids, or other additives, fillers or colours. What a top idea   Give your kids what you eat at home to take to school for lunch. Unless of course what you eat at home is burgers, chips, pizzas etc.  I remember one woman who said that for some of the kids around there, cos its so poor, the school dinner is the only nourishment they get. When they get home they get a bad of crisps and shoved in front of the telly. (at least thats what i think she said... she had the worst accent ive ever heard. WTF was it?) Bad parenting + bad diet = kids i'm scared of. And how bout those kids who were taken off the junk, they were calm and better at school too. Gave them a "treat" (of poisoning their bodies again) and WooHoo back to tantrums and madness. What a crying shame that kids are given food thats only really good for cats and dogs  oh no wait... even a can of good pet food costs more than 37p FFS.  Signed btw  #9034
