The motor will sweeten out as you use it. Mine 1999 model, would also get me angry with vibes until it hit about 30K Kilometers after which I can cruise all day without any problems whatsoever. What also helped a lot was when I... lost one of my bar ends. The inequality in weigh over the two sides of the bars just made it absorb the vibes. Also, the front end has nothing to do with engine vibration. The front end (as it is) has to do though with a sense of vagueness and lack of feedback when turning. This is another story...

I get this occaasionally too. Like a few others have said, warm hands makes a massive difference.
As an extra tip, if the weather gets really nasty stop at a garage and put some of those free plastic gloves from by the fuel pumps underneath your bike gloves. It's got me home in heavy sleet before (didn't check the weather forecast) when it was getting beyond a joke. Apparently even Rossi did this in the Moto GP at the weekend.

When you're cruising it also helps to keep moving around before the feeling starts to go. You can stretch most of the muscles in your arms and across your shoulders without slowing down (much) which keeps the blood flowing.
