Come on, he's already said he's putting them back in because he knows that it's wrong to take them out. Why bother giving him grief?

Rik, I'm sure the next 18 months will fly by and when you legally take out therestrictors you'll never look back. :P

And here we go again with the restriction kit arguement. No guys it isn't any different to having an illegal end can or even racing cars off the lights on the road. Both give means for an insurance company to say you are uninsured. End of story.

I don't really mind what you both do, it's up to you in the end. I wish some people on the forum would at least make the attempt to spell a little better though. Ah well.

Dan.

I've painstakingly put up with the restriction on 2 bikes for the last 22 months and can't wait to see the back of the restrictor on the SV.

It's not that the bike is lacking for 99% of what I need (80 miles commute each day to London and back)... yet if I could have easily changed the restriction and taken it somewhere ike an air strip/private road I would have had a go, I'm sure... but seeing as it's so close I don't mind now.

Removing it to have a play is natural curiosity... riding it unrestricted *all* the time is plain cheeky

There's a big difference between taking them out permanently, and taking them out for a day... Give the guy a break.

Still, sounds like a recipe for temptation- I'd hate to have to go back, wouldn't you?
