Wow, what a great set of responses! Thanks for the replies. Now I feel like I am a part of a larger group - with some odd folks in this group, I'm willing to bet...

I am a native New Yorker, living in Los Angeles for the last 3 years. I noticed that this is a UK-based group - are there rides/get-togethers in SoCal? There must be, this area is perfect for riding, except for the millions of !@#$% other 4-wheel drivers! I would love to ride with other like-minded folks, especially as I don't know any other riders in the area.

My SV, even if it is red, continues to delight! First time on the freeway today - excellent!
