Viney, just like doing three annuals on the trot Actually its not bad if you break it up into short but pleasant stints 1stint-up till b/fast 100miles
2stint full tank fuel stop for fill-up plus lunch 3stint full tank afternoon tea 4stint just round the corner, nearly there Pepper this with wee breaks and a fag here and there, you've done it
Reason I suggest Travel Lodge or like is so to have a nice Bath or shower at the end of the day

na na na na na, Riding huge distance on an SV is a no no for me. My knees just cant take it. Riding any huge distance on a bike has never appealed to me. Id rather jump in me car thank you. Now, getting a couple of people to rent a van, throw the bikes in the back, now thats doable! But not that weekend

Sounds good and I really really want to do it BUT my sister will be visiting from South Africa and my mates from Oz will be here for that weekend as part of their EU tour so I'll have to give it a miss

What than sitting on a motorway banging along at 90 for 400 miles! I hate motorway riding, andto cover the distance to Scottyland, you have to do Motorway or sle it would take forever.

You guys are just hard core. My knees just wouldnt take the journey, simple as that
