It's not whether any oil comes out, it's what happens when you crash.

Exactly, hence my explanation

Also, if the delivery tube were to break or fracture, the air pressure would allow the contents of the tube to drain out quickly, introducing oil to the track.

No matter how small, there would be a danger.

Alright, is it really worth the extra money to go with the touring model?

Absolutely not... the standard model will last for 500-1000 miles, and if you want it easy to fit and unfit, then stick with the basics.

Alright, thanks.

Next question: how about the dual injector? Is it worth it?

I've got the dual injector on mine & it works well, but not really worth it TBH... Stick with the single on the SV

I've got a single injector, I don't believe the dual injector is necessary.
It was fitted to my curvy 650 and now its on my thou. The oil spreads over the full width of the chain and lubricates it all quite nicely.

Again, No.

Fiddly and easily broken apparently. The principle isn't to drop the oil directly onto the chain, but the let it flow onto the rear sprocket. From here it is flung into the chain. This ensures it gets to the friction and wearable parts.

Are there any benefits to using the Scottoiler brand oil over engine oil or transmission oil?

It is designed for the job,but any oil will lube the chain. Some oils fling off more easily, but if its free(old engine oil?)who cares?
