i agree with the above, they're good cans. Well made and rackety. I don't really like the sound but that's a matter of taste.
Except for the bit when Mr Toad said that the FI will adjust for the can- SV650 FI runs a set map and has no lambda sensors, it doesn't adjust for anything- too basic. That's one of the more commonly repeated SV myths... But, still, you generally don't need to remap for a slipon because they don't make a huge difference in fueling by themselves.

a mate tells me (so again just another myth) suzuki fi engines are designed to run a 5% tollerance either way? so it can cope with a race can but when combined with a filter it buggers up the running? the mate in question has a tl1000s.

Nah, that's almost right but all it really is, is that you can generally make a certain amount of changes to the air'n'fuel mix without causing any problems. Same with FI or carbs for that matter, or for any other manufacturer.
