I have no recollection of what happened immediately before one of my offs, if it weren't for having witnesses I'd have assumed I just blacked out momentarily or something. Crashes and trauma can do strange things to the brain.

Soory to hear about your accident. i had an accident on 31st july and it happened so quick i'm still not sure exactly why. the police thought that it was a combination of wet road, crap road and oil or diesel? fortunately, my bike will be repairable and i've only broken two bones in my hand and wrist. But it's so bloody annoying not being able to ride for weeks and I was due to go on a biking holiday in september!

Many thanks for your good wishes and advice. Been to the docs and he has ruled out epilepsy/blackout and given me some v strong painkillers so I can sleep and I actually feel quite good today as long as I keep still.

Took your advice and visited the accident spot tonight to find my crash marks which were just after the start of the bend but on opposite side of road. Looks like I didnt even get very far into the bend but went straight on, flipped bike over pavement as well as myself. Other interesting find was a dead rabbit in the gutter/grass near the place I must have been aiming at on the regular curve of the bend. Now trying to see if said rabbit was reason for accident i.e see rabbit, hit brake slightly tilted over, this stands bike up and points it at oppostie kerb, not enough time to stop so hit kerb and flip bike??

Bike gone off for repair and felling a lot better about things in general, so therapy working. Well done to all SVers!!

Andy
