The gearbox has smoothed out and is starting to feel good
![]() Still find it uncomfy. ![]() The SV differs from the Hornet because the SV engine goes bwahh and the Hornet goes whoosh. The Hornet doesn't vibe either. The SV rattles like a motorcycle should. The SV engine does more than give forward momentum...this is it's 'character'. The SV looks miles better than the Hornet too. Espesh in Black. Even got a nod from a Ducatisti...obviously knew a good looking V-twin when he sees one. |

My SV was in for some mods today and the dealer gave me a new bandit 650s to play on while I waited, the engine purred bit didn't roar, the cornering felt almost as if I had training wheels on almost impossibe to get wrong, the riding position was comfortable but put me in mind of a scooter, in short I felt I was just riding the machine not part of the riding experience
When I got my SV back it just felt so comfortable and right - all the feedback and experience - I just had to do one of my fave runs. |
