Just go into your local auto accessory shop and buy a tin of Turtle Wax. The stuff in the tin is a harder wearing wax, and while a pig to do a whole car with, is a two minute job for your visor. And it's so smooooth afterwards, er not that it excites me of course .

Last night I tried this, but used "neutral" boot polish... I have to say that my visor was rather spiffing this morning. The wax keeps all the crud off....

i went into a shop a few weeks ago and bought some of the stuff in the tin.

it was the exact same stuff that comes out of a bottle.
