No problem, I've got the rubber bit so it's not really an issue regarding repairs, more I was wondering if it was worth specifying not to include that bit, if it meant a couple of quid off.

There's one wedged deep inside, trust me, been there done that. My replacement bar end had the wrong length bolt too, can you re-use your original bolt or was it bent?

Thanks for the help folks. Bar ends are sorted now and aside from the indicator (going to order it today), she's ready to be back on the road.

Having the bike in bits has given me a good opportunity to clean in those hard to reach places and even autosol some of the rust off the frame. Many thanks for your help and encouragement everyone, it's much appreciated.

Bugger, very similar thing happened to me last year only my disc got bent. I still haven't replace the bar ends

I didn't realise indicators were so expensive.
