Of course, it was NOTHING to do with the fact that she probably couldn't drive in the summer, let alone winter!

Meanwhile, the weather-numpties keep on doom-mongering by saying it's "bitterly cold" when, at about 2 degrees, they really mean it's just "a bit nippy". We had that sort of weather on our Catherine Wheel (in October) and none of US had to stay overnight in a Community Centre. And it's like that all year round up in Leyburn.

FACT: This country does have a winter.
FACT: It has been known that we get snow at the end of November.
FACT: Bodmin Moor has been known to get snow.
OPINION: The South is full of old shandy-drinking crumblies with Chelsea Tractors, who can't actually drive them.

We should immediately send all our Northern Great I AMs down to train them.....

(This should simultaneously upset several IAM members AND flush out Southern lurkers on the Pennine Massive thread. I hope!!!)
Yeahbutnobutyeahbutnobut...you smell of wee and biscuits and wear flat caps

Sadly its all true.

El Boc, it's the end of November mate, you're not kidding me that you've got +10 degrees or better today are you ? I mean, you are NORTH of Birmingham, and you have to wait until June for that sort of weather

On the other hand, my pet tropical iguana does have a coat on today, but I drew the line at him wearing a flat cap

November? NOVEMBER?

Is it really? It's so mild (only about minus 4 or 5) that I thought it must still be July! Gosh, all the leaves will start to go soon........

i am just plain scared of ice/snow/wet and anything that means i'm gonna shorten my life, much prefer hooning round in nice warmish sunny conditions ( don't we all though) and taking my tyres to within 4 mm!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!
too many grey hairs popping out already for me to hoon round in ice!

I would be more on edge than a three legged balarena (sp) and would have more confidence in a chocolate fireguard than my abolity to ride in/on ice !!!! know its pansy and wuss like but what i lack in confidence in the cold i make up for in the summer !!!!

and ice...... don't like it at all !!
