I'll give it a go. I have a faired vsn but the filler is just hidden behind it. I'm sure that the fan is supposed to kick in at 90, and always has done until I chucked the bike down the bus lane and had a service. No joy since.

Are we saying that taking the filler cap off and running it, whilst rocking a bit should clear any air pockets? Is there not another bleed valve that needs to be opened like on some cars?? I'll check the Haynes manual but feedback welcomed!

Are these sensors a regular problem? The guy that sold mew one off ebay says it definately worked when he took it off the bike.... no idea what else would cause fan to fail given that bridging the connection to the fan sensor gets the fan going every time...

mines a k6 pointy my fan comes on at 103 and goes of at 98,ifs thats any help

My fan has never ever come on. Highest its ever been was about 90 degrees. And that was around town stuck in traffic.
