okay soo.. last week my batt was almost dead sooo i let it run for like a 1/2 or so... i went out to shut it off and the temp was ova 200. around 220 i think...i decided to ride it up and down the drive way a few times and it reached 180 so i decide to place it back in the garage.. this isn't normal is it. i thought it was soppost to stay around 100 or so..any help would be great thanks guys/ladies.

new rad time for you lol, then again it could be the fan... or a dodgy temp meter to be honest if it was two hundred + your bike would of seized or blown up or something, im sure the coolant would of boiled at that temp too

Check the scale - it sounds like you have swapped over to Fahrenheit when the battery died!

as others have said, sounds like you are on the Farenheight scale
using http://www.webmath.com/tconvert.html it tells me your 220°F is actuall 104°C. so no worries all is as it should have been
