Might leave the bike as is because it is technically still standard or just get the exhaust but that depends on what the insurance says. I gotta ring them to declare the fairings and cowl and will ask them what an exhaust will do to my premium.

Chavs add tacky tasteless garish mods with all the asthetic appeal of John Prescot in a bathing costume.

I would definitely concur. Most of the mods suggested actually have funtional properties as well as looking good.

Hugger (reduces spray onto the rear shock) quite a good thing at £250 a pop for a new shock.

Fender extenda ( stops water spray from getting into your cylinder)

Seat cowl ( erm well erm. Ahh, if no one sits there, its a waste) Stretching it abit now.

Lowers, (reduces wind blast and increase protection of the engine from elements)


Anyway I think chavving it is a bit strong. PEople who spend thousands on their cars tasteful or not do it for the love of it and the thrill. Your average chav might roller brush a white stripe down his corsa, buy those fake looky likey alloy hubs from halfwits and will defintely get flashing leds all over the car. Oh and lets not forget the bolt on 5 inch big bore look exhaust extension for about a £10. THey still make laugh when I see them now.

you dont get many adult "boy-racers" in cars (i wont call them charvers because they are a whole different breed and many wont own cars its just some boy-racers are also charvers). However, you dont get many young lads with bikes so the adults reign there. There arent many bikes which arent modded at all.

I'd also point out that I'd say a tastelessly modified bike (usually bandits/oldish sportsbikes) is a rarity, rather than the norm. Considering almost all bikes are modified in some way, it's a testament to the restraint and style of most owners that they generally look better than stock.

Looking good but get a hamicad when you can and do not be put off as the instructions seem harder than it really is. The bike will look so much neater at the back...
