When dispatching your only real concern is to get around as cheaply and reliably as possible. You want a well sorted, economical bike - performance is not an issue. It's also best if you have no affection at all for your bike - you're gonna wreck it.

I reckon anyone who uses an SV for courier work deserves a medal.......Just thinking about sitting on my bike for the whole day makes my eyes water

You'd need a bum made from steel...or perhaps rubber....maybe bubblewrap....in fact anything that doesn't have pain sensors connected.

I'll shut up now.

I dispatch for my misses on point s

only way I get out on it

Not very economical or fast,
10 miles as crow flies,
£5 on petrol & 1 hour ride,
go figure

No honestly I don't think topboxes look good but they are seriously useful.
Yeah but if you saw this guy you would laugh too, he has these funny nazi style trousers all flared out and stuff. My little gn250 has a top box and I can fit 2 bags of shopping in it! Which is very handy indeed, just looks out of place on an sv for some reason.

I've got one of the offical suzuiki ones replaces the pilion seat so you still get the shape of the back of the bike, i dont think i could handle having a box if it was stuck on a rack out the back. They have made some effort to sculpt so angels into the box so it doesn't look to awfull, the box it big enough for a hemlet and a few extras. The nazi style trowers sound quite amusing though.
