am i reading you right?????
£177 for just pads?
how does that work out?
for my sv i just go to shop and ask for "pads to fit"
full set £45!
mind you..if i recall , some mag done an artical on price of parts from manufacturer, a gsxr 600 in parts would cost around £36k!!!!
go figure!
yeah! dont buy oem!

Has anyone seen the price of a genuine sv650 exhaust, somewhere between £600-700.

MCN did a test a few years ago about the price of bike parts, they broke down a new ZX6 kwak and priced every new part as a individual item from the dealer, the ZX6 list price was £7,200 and in bits it would cost nearly £30,000!
thats why these bike breakers buy brand new bikes and just strip them.

ordered a set of Performance friction pads for the front and a set of ebc for the rear £85 all in !!! should take about 25 mins for me to fit!

My mate was quoted £54 for a Marauder 125 brake lever - His Hardly Ableson bits are cheaper for genuine parts...

maybe they saw your sig, hmmmm 3 bikes let's take him for a ride ,


as others have said buy the pads else where (no the oe ones) & diy it, they are easier to fit than u think. i found this out when rechie numbers fitted my front pads for me.
