Know of someone who was driving a sports car, with roof down. Car going the other way hit a Bird - you can guess the rest. Blood and guts ended up all over the bloke in the open topped sports car ! Made me laugh when he told me.

Just after I started riding I had a pigeon smack into my lid at c. 50mph - bit of a shock!! I was just approaching a bend in the wet and it totally threw me so I panic braked & lost the front
![]() still, I can laugh about it now... I know what you mean about it hurting though!! |

I had a pidgeon fly up out the hedge one day into my boot. Had a nice collection of feathers and stuff stuck on my boot. it made quite a hard impact and pulled my foot of the peg.
Best one I have had was in the car. I was cracking on a bit and a pidgeon flew up out of the hedge and it hit the car in the near side upper quarter of the windscreen. What was left of the pidgeon smeared itself up the windscreen just like a dead fly does when you hit it in the summer ![]()

I've been hit by a pigeon, was only at about 50mph though on my old moped. Nearly hit a badger in my 106, that would have been interesting!

There's a road on my way to work that's about 20ft from the shore in one place. I was riding along and must have spooked this bugger. It decided to cross the road as a takeoff strip. I've never hugged the tank so close in my life.

oh yes nearly crashed beacuse of it... I was belting round a nice corner when it hit me, my vison went red as it splatted onto my visor, once I got stopped I also noticed the Bird had emptied its bowels all down my front too... At that point I emptied mine out my mouth into the verge... It was all good!!!
