3 x Z6's on the SV 14,054 mile, 11,600 & 12,600 respectively.

few quid more perhaps, but worth it, even get over 10,000 out of a rear on the triple , now that's value.

also look at the Stratda's as well (same as Z6's, but with different tread pattern).

Cheers Mark.

Thats some milage out of the tyres, but why such a huge variance? When i used to use the bridgestones, i used to get the same mileage give or take 500 miles ish

Trackdays as well! Blimey, that is good value!!!

Quick question about the z6s. Do they work ok in the wet? Heat up quick?

now this is where it gets personal, all tyres will "let go" if pushed hard enough, it's just whether you can read them to give you warning before it happens.

I always loved the Avons, but people slated them in the wet, never had that problem, just had to feel where the limit was.

Whilst I wouldn't say the Z6's were any better or worse in the wet, they're more "readable" to me, which translates into more useable.

Heat up? well never really had a problem, but then I tend to fell the grip all the time when riding and use what I've got, not slow to heat up but then again, these ain't out & out sports tyres (you try getting that kind of mileage out of one of those ).

Cheers Mark.

Just fitted Road Attacks to them £145. Took them out today and found that there was a lot more feedback than the standard dunlops - also they do drop easier into corners due to their profile. Early days but seem like planted tyres. Looking forward to the rideout on Sunday

This is true, and I think the reason that some people don't like them. However, they may drop in fast (try upping the front pressure to 35) but they don't let go.

I stand corrected, never know a tyre that didn't let go, but Hey haven't tried the Conti's.

Cheers Mark.
