If you have all the bits get it welded. Its not monkey mettle so welds OK.
Got mine done for a tenner.

New one from Metropolis Motorcycles, Vauxhall - £38

Trying to fit it it the rain with an allen key set, a hammer and a pair of grips when the nut on the back of the rearset which has clearly never been off and is stuck fast leaving me with scraped knuckles and a broken pair of grips and no new changer fitted... Priceless

Good job there's a little stub of metal left on that I'm able to flick with the toe of my boot or I'd be buggered.

So... what to do to get the fecker off then? WD40?

if you still haven't got this sorted, but can ride the bike. As I'm not far from you get down to me and I'll sort it for you.
