Rest In Pieces oh faithful steed.

At least until Mark (aka Rictus01, aka Dr Frankenstien!) gets to work on ya!

Perhaps it too was protesting the potential change to a white coat of paint!

although at times the sound is distincly "dry clutch upgrade", I don't think I could bring myself to cut some holes in the cover, anodise it red, and burn several hundred of my hard earned pounds in the ask tray

Cheers Mark.

So, if it's going to be off the road for a bit then why don't you post me the seat for a week and I'll see about doing a leather Red Dragon cover for it.

Anything to stop you painting it white! I saw both the white and gold Triples in a showroom last week. Blech!

Although I have the gearbox output shaft, selector cam & pinion and forks (what do you mean, I thought everyone kept that sort of thing in the shed), I can't tell if it's on the input shaft, so for the mean time will swap out the lump, should know in a couple of hours if I'll be doing it this week or not.

K, I've three seats anyway so if you're serious, then I could well be interested.

although I have already brought the paint so that's set now, it might be white based, but trust me it does work.

Cheers Mark.

Oh well, if you're going to paint the poor thing white anyway...

Yeah why not - I'll never get round to experiment with doing one if it's for one of my own bikes, but if it's for someone else...

Just don't expect me to do any of it in white though!
