Went to take my wheels off for a set of new tyres to go on............

...and found my taxdisc holder missing as well as the chain guard bolt previously holding it in place.

Think cops can tell if you have tax from there fancy-dan VIC20 super computas.

£7-10? for a replacement ?

...and the shops want £15-20 for a feckin holder! Not got the brass neck to phone demon tweeks/Busters for a 75p one, maybe need to get a CG125 beach towel or pink helmet mohican to justify.

........or a 12mm spanner

mines attached to the rear bolt tha tholds the left side pillion peg on-

bit more fiddle to get to for a tea leaf.

used to have mine on the chainguard one- till it got nicked..

usually theyd just steal the entire bike and rob a post office

I'd love to keep a copy of my tax disc in the holder but was told it's an offence to do so and can result in a hefty fine (as in WAY more than the cost of a new tax disc). Is it worth it? Some coppers are just waiting for an excuse to nick you for something.

BUT-

sod them-I have had mine nicked once b4.. its so easy to pinch them off a bike.!

They can check anyway through yer system and yer eg so why dispaly ot any more- it is ludicrous
