I think they're brilliant! Her voice is just amazing! I'd love to sing like that, wouldn't mind looking like her either, she is VERY pretty..... even if she does remind me of Charlotte Church!!

Yeah she does have a great voice but I don't like all that emo stuff. I might enjoy a rendition of Las Vegas however.

I think she's just taking a bit of time out to do solo stuff, but is still recording with Nightwish. I haven't heard After Forever - is it similar stuff? I might have to go shopping on Play

It's broadly similar but less high fantasy and 80s electronica. The themes in the songs tend to be alot closer to real life.
I'm still getting used to their most recent album (last year, shows how much I pay attention) but prison of desire is fantastic, then decipher is good and the concept album, invisible circles is fantastic. Newest album is remagine, they seem to have gone a bit darker with it, but I haven't had a chance to listen to it properly, yet.
