No such luck for me, just lumps of filth under there which i then stood in and walked all over my carpet.

Did use parrafin and a toothbrush once i'd run out of brake cleaner but with the brake cleaner you can blast the gunge off from a distance.

Oh, and anyone doing this in future i'd suggest wearing gloves. I've scrubbed my hands 10 times now with a nail brush and there's still dirt under my nails.

Three bolts (8mm i think) and you have to manouver (sp) around the gear linkage. Not very difficult.

A piece of pi** 3 8mm bolts. Unod bolts remove cover.

I cleaned mine out a while back and found a long reach 10mm socket in there that i had lost

You lot REALLY have too much time on your hands. I used to clean my bike about once every two weeks, not its about every 2 months, and a shower every week during the winter. Never don it any harm.

3 bolts if I remember correctly (did mine 2 weeks ago).

And I too run a Scot Oiler (sp?) and they do cause a lot of mess.

I have mine set so that there is only a tiny amount of fling onto the rear wheel and that's far lower than the 1 - 2 drops per minute suggested by scottoiler.
