i can vouch for that, ive had one since college about 8 yrs ago, used daily on my commute, a little dirty but still in great condition.

Bungee net. Best £5 I spent anyway! No issues at speed, and so many places to put the hooks on to on the SVS that it's literally, stupid!

I think I paid about £3 for my cargo net delivered off Ebay. It lives under the seat.

I always carry mine on my left arm - causes slight probs on full lock by nearly hitting the tank but apart from that it is fine and comfortable - great if you dont have a net or anything.

Get a net, £5 from Infinity or wherever, and easily holds a helmet on the back, even at silly speeds. Handy for putting pretty much anything on the back, i regularly carry customer's PCs and laptops (not on the "silly speed" journeys though ) The bacon roll i get on the way to work goes under it too. Stashes easily under the seat when your not useing it. have to agree with Baph, best £5 i've ever spent. Except possibly one of the (many) £5's that went towards buying the sv in the first place

What if............er........nah, I'm good. I've done that a few times too! Now I use a rucksack.

Provided you don't need to use a tankbag as well, I find a tankbag (expanded, if possible) makes a great "helmet and pair of gloves" carrier.

My tankbag is uber useful, but i also carry a bungynet with me all the time
