I ran this set - on my SV Thunderbike before i did the GSXR front end and Dymag conversion and yes it did make the bike steer quicker and stop better!. Tyre wear improved slightly too.

They should be fine for road use also!.

bear in mind how much wheels go for on ebay and ask yourself how much it would cost you to do the swap. that and the fact youd be getting a set of disks that have about 6000 miles less on em than the ones you have allready
I'd have to get someone else to remove my wheel and fit them as well.

Depends on where you get your tyres done. If you say went to a suzuki dealership in leatherhead(not a million miles from guilford) to have new tyres fittied then when the wheel is off just have the other wheel put on and then bung it on ebay.

Funny you should mention new tyres, cos they'll need replacing soon but after winter.

That's another problem, I don't use eBay so have no idea what prices are or how I'm going to get rid of the extra front wheel. Why do I get the feeling I'm being reeled in like a fish? It's so tempting now.

Not really reeled in like a fish, more like you are being shown a solution to a problem you faced.

The problem I face is bankruptcy from buying too much stuff. I'll have to check on a few things like what my insurance says on modifications, bank balance etc and have a major think.

How exactly is an insurance company going to find out? cant say i've every heard of an assosor ever asking for tyres to be removed incase the wheels have been machined.

I'm not going anywhere though and my details are on the for sale thread so if you make your mind up then jus let me know.
