In Hertfordshire and Hampshire, hurricanes hardly happen.

I've been known to do this too, and my lid & gloves on the tank all night whilst the key was in the ignition Woke up in the morning, rushing for work, thinking "Where the hell did I put my lid? Where's my keys" & decided to look in the car as we'd been out the night before realised when I opened the front door

Although I suspect viney was being sarcastic, I'm unfortunately not.

(No, the forum doesn't give an accurate location to me!)

I wish i could say I have never done that....

I must admit I don't like the idea of leaving a spare set of keys on the bike. I'd rather lock one in my office draw or leave then at home.

I leave my non spare key in the pillion seat lock! :P

It's not a great idea to leave anything valuable/important on the bike. I have moved my tool kit from the behind the shock to under the pillion and put my disc lock there instead.

Spare key and alarm fob is back home and if I need it I'll get someone to bring it.

Wish I could say I hadn't done that either.. although I notice when i got a few feet from the bike. I removed my Tool kit from under the seat and relocated it into the garage seeing as it's not as if I could fix much at the side of the road with it. My chain now fits under the pillion seat.

Sir Trev, the tool kit was moved behind the rear shock from K4 onwards, before that it was under the seat.

Seeing as it's not been answered, if AAA means American Automobile Association and most of us are not in America, get rid of the American and what have you got?

I would make a political statement here, but I'll leave it.
