Thanks v much for the offers guys , but the scratchings really not that bad, only a graze about the size of a penny on the can. The indicator took most of the punishment!!

Stock indicators make pretty good protection, as long as they don't break the fairing... If you must crash it though, yoyu've got the right idea- do it stationary, when you're not riding it

I've bent the rear brake lever as well .

Found out this morning first time I tried to use it, nearly hit the back of a car in slow moving traffic when my foot couldn't find the lever, I was too close and only just had time to realise what had happened and grab the front brake before kissing a Fiesta's butt!

I'm going to go don to the car park and inspect the bike in daylight at lunchtime to see if there's anything else I've not noticed yet.
