My Hein Gerrik boots were fine until yesterday.A day out at Lydden where it chucked it down all day and a 200 mile round trip did for them.I think they leaked,but to be fair water getting in through the neck of my suit slowly worked it's way down inside and could have been responsible for the soggy socks.But I think the boots leaked too.Everything else did eventually.

hein gericke - goretex - approx 20k miles in all weathers and still keep 100% dry feet, think the goretex guarantee is 5 years

I've got Alpine Stars SMX plus's n they've never leaked (they're not waterproof boots either
![]() Mind you I don't get them absolutely soaked! If I get caught in a downpour though they seem to hold out pretty well! ![]() |
