The first time I bled my SV brakes all I got was no pressure, once I got the hang of bleeding them they were fine and still are! I took the reservoir bit off the bars and put it at an angle where I thought no air bubbles would be left. Then taped the brake lever so that it was fully on and left it for an hour. This seemed to help. Also found slow movement of the brake lever got some bubbles to pop up in the reservoir! As I said before if you need a hand let me know! I also found it improved with time, I think air bubbles come up after the bike has stood overnight, the first time you pull the brake lever you can see them!

The syringe idea sounds good - if I had know about it I would have tried! lol

Doesnt look like it, , just put a new master cylinder repair kit on her and lever still comes way too far back.

wahoo. new master cylinder=front brake, still not 100% YET, but gonna tie it back to the bar and leave it over night.

Wow, how did you source the parts so quick ... is there an SV down the road without a master cylinder on it now?!?!

lol, nooo i had one laying around in my garage (master cylinder)..you forget..i work in the trade so i get stuff for trade price, so i usually have access to/store of various bits for my bike.
