I agree that any Bluetooth headset should work but it's finding a headset/mic that will fit nicely into a helmet.

I would not really want headphones that stick in your ear as the pressure from the helmet can give you ear ache so I think I would rather have headphone that sit flat aginst your ear and the helmet.

I suppose the mic should be easy enough.

There must be a specific Blue tooth headset made for bikes somewhere?

Regards
Neil

I've got an autocom which is pretty handy, it has speakers that velcro into the helmet and a mic. I liked the fact I could have my iPod, phone and radio all plugged in and I can be listening to music which automatically dims when you receive a phone call.

Ride the bike, when you stop check work techno thingy for emails/ texts/ missed calls etc if you must. Concentrate on riding and getting there safely, nothings that important that it cant wait until you stop, unless your jack bauer.

i have a "Scala-Rider" headset, it was about £70 from memory, it attaches to the helmet, speaker Velcros into the lining of the lid, and the mike bends up into the helmet, me and a mate have both got them, they are great, we used them on a road trip to Birmingham in August, and rider to rider they are Crystal clear up to about 70mph, after that it gets a little hard to here what is being said, but if you are talking to some one who is just using a phone normally i have tested it up to 110mph and it is still Crystal clear, they are great IMO, battery last for eva between charges, i have had it since August, and only charged it the once, obviously i have turned it off between uses but she is still going strong!!! well worth a look.
