I have an oval Delta + Tit can on my K5 SV650 -this is a road legal can with removable baffle, sound is not loud too annoy the neighbours but enough for people to turn thier heads on the street. With the baffle out it has a deeper tone on tickover and is not considerably louder just enough too put a smile on your face.
In relation to removing the baffle, it not easy. The baffle will have 3 weld points that secure the baffle to the inside wall of the exhaust, to remove this you will need to remove the cap end screw which is located at the top of the exhaust, this screw thus enables the end cap to come off so you can remove the baffle - the baffle does not come out without the end cap removed if it does the baffle has been 'modified' |
